This photo of me was taken in Venice by my friend Melinda Mollineaux during the Venice Biennale in 2005. I had to do a lot of work on it as I was too short to get my head into the centre of the circular halo. Thank goodness of photoshop. To view or order this image go to the Gallery link below.
Since I have started to work full time as a government employee my painting and writing has suffered as I find it quite difficult at my age to do what I used to do when I was in my twenties. So new work is rare - I only paint about 15 - 20 paintings a year and I only write a handful of poems. But it is nice having a paycheck every two weeks - so I think I will stick with the job and paint when my energy level allows it.
